RESPONSIBLY SOURCED

We know that what we do today affects our tomorrow. We work side by side with Certified Foresters that manage the forest, so it will be there for GENERATIONS to come.

DRIED RAW LUMBER

After it is cut, the wood is stacked with kiln sticks, which allows maximum air flow across the surface area of each board, and then placed in the kiln to finish the drying process.   Every load is slowly heated and maxed out at 140 degrees for 24 hours, ensuring the death of any insects that have taken up residence in the wood.  Wood remains in the kiln until its humidity falls below 8 percent.

FLOORING/MOULDING/WALL CLADDING

Once dried, the rough-cut wood is re-stacked, sorted, straight edged and then run through our 6 headed moulder.  All products are uniform in thickness and width – TRUE to ordered size.

QUALITY CHECK

After exiting moulder, every single piece of product is examined for imperfections based upon CUSTOMER PREFERENCE.

PACKAGING & SHIPPING

After a second quality check, product is bundled and ready for delivery or pick-up. Typically, we offer FREE delivery within a 150-mile radius of Raleigh, IL.
