Most of our products are custom order. Therefore, our inventory is mostly rough, dried lumber that is ready to be run into flooring or moulding.
We pride ourselves in producing the best quality wood products which requires a multi-step process – logging trees, milling into rough lumber, kiln drying (takes 3-4 weeks), sorting by grade, straight edging, running through moulding machine, quality checking, bundling and ready for shipping.
Length of time from order placement to delivery is dependent upon many variables:
- Type of wood species (availability at time of order—we may have what you want already dried in our inventory but if we do not it could take 3 to 4 weeks before it is ready for production.)
- Size of order (total number of square feet or lineal feet)
- Type of product (tongue and groove flooring, shiplap and car siding are common orders and we keep these knives on hand. However, for certain moulding profiles we may not have the knives on hand, so that may add an additional week.).
Some orders can have a 2-week turn around, where other orders may require several months.
Larger orders are usually placed a month or two in advance—typically new home construction order may be initiated shortly after breaking ground or framing has begun.
