We do not finish or install any products. Products will be delivered bundled as raw, wood tongue and groove flooring, plank flooring, crown moulding, baseboard, door or window casing, S4S, carsiding, wainscoting or other application. It is up to either the customer or contractor to prep, paint or stain wood themselves. If we have a greater request for finished products, we will consider adding this to our services in the future.
Note (Shiplap): It is easier to paint shiplap and mouldings prior to installation. (We have found laying a few pieces across a couple sawhorses and then either spraying with an airless spray gun or painting with brush makes for a smooth and quick process.)
Note (Flooring): There are carpentry sub-specialists who only lay and finish floors. In our opinion, wood floors that have been installed, sanded, stained and then finished with a protective coat have a superior look to floors that have been pre-finished and then laid.
